Why "Living From the Overflow"

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."Romans 15:13

Years ago (around 4ish) this verse breathed life into my bones as God made it clear that whatever mission field I am in, whether that being Nicaragua, the United States, or some other place I have yet to step foot on, that as long as I trust in Him, He will give me hope and allow me to overflow with peace and joy.

My shirts have the Chicago skyline on them, but the cool thing is that God is pouring into so many more major cities not just in the United States but all over and this is a reminder of that

As God’s love pours through our lives through devotion to Him and deep time with Him, His love, joy and peace start to naturally overflow out of our lives. All of a sudden hope is no longer this unattainable thing to grasp at, but rather something that we know is truth and pervades through every fiber of our being.

LIVING THROUGH THE OVERFLOW is simply living through God’s love and as God pours into us we can in-turn overflow into our homes, neighborhoods, churches, and anywhere we walk.
